Guadalhorce-Mouth near Málaga
January 27 2011

Dear reader!

After days only with rain the weather changed to its best today and opened this marvellous view to the Sierra Tejeda:

"Looking terrific this snow scenery, but we prefer to land at this seashore!"

"And I'll do a little bit of Pilates!":

Swishy Miss White-headed Duck chuggled through the lagoon. But …

… much to her chagrin all the males were sleeping or found already the lady of their heart:

How nice, today again we discovered a couple of Teals!

Also hundreds of Cormorants still populate the Mouth Area:

Normally we see the banded Osprey, who spends the winter at Guadalhorce, only from far distance at his favorite place. But today he flew relatively near the observation point. But the ring unfortunately is not readable:

And of course also today we were waiting to see the Short-eared Owl at dawn. And lucky we were and saw two! Just terrific!

Best regards
