Eurasian collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto)

Eurasian collared doves were here at the coast few and far between seen in small numbers in 1987. Well, from few species you cannot talk these days any more. In my garden, where corn is lying or corn-plants are growing in the biotope they love to come in flocks!

We like it here and here …

… we shall form a family!

Mr. Dove is very much in love …

… with his gentle and loveable bride:

And doesn´t she have the most beautiful eyes far and wide?

The running sprinkler is used by the collared doves …

… gladly as a refreshing shower:

Such a bath makes hungry!

This also the nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins etc. etc. are thinking and …

… populate the feeding places!

And also on the trees the remaining relatives are waiting to …

… fly also to this feeding places as soon as a vacancy occurs!
