Rose-ringed parakeet at the biotope
July 12 2010

Obviously attracted by my small sunflower field, every day during July three rose-ringed parakeets

show up in the garden:

And after they had an extensive breakfast they start accurately to take care for their plumage:

Mrs. Rose-ringed parakeet takes her tail feathers with her beak and cleans them carefully:

Mr. Rose-ringed parakeet in the meantime extensively cleans his claws:

"We are perfectly clean!"

Really it's so beautiful what there is to be seen in the homey biotope!

Best regards
