In the small lagoon directly at the plank there was a constant coming and going!
Just too nice, to be able to observe so many shorebirds from relatively closed by!
Well, do you also see that? The ruffs to our biggest joy also had been there!
In all the activities of so many shorebirds of course nice meetings happen, like the following photos might show:
Mr. Pied avocet does not deign a look at the dunlins:
A ruff strictly made sure, that the little temminck's stint is picking enough!
These two dunlins obviously made friends with the ruff during their migration:
Also Mr.Pied avocet and Miss Redshank share their breakfast!
Mrs. Stilt however does not want to have anything to do with the ruff:
Isn´t it nice to see them all undisturbed together? Moorhen, ringed plover, dunlin and ruff:
